The evolution of Tanjong Katong from an organic coastal area to a residential suburb inspired the transformation of landforms from south to north, from naturalistic to stylised geomertic. In juxtaposition, a geometric weave pattern based on a stylised Peranakan tile radiates from the conserved house to its surroundings, accentuating the historial links to its Peranakan roots.
